Football
Scarborough football club has a great fan base within the town and surrounding areas. Playing at least two matches every week you need look no further than the McCain stadium for your fill of football every week.

North Cliff Golf Club is situated 2 miles north of the town on the coastal road to Whitby. The fantastically designed course is both a delight and a challenge to play. Currently the club has vacancies for all classes of membership. |

South Cliff course is huge fun, as well as being an immensely challenging course at times, it provides a great view of the shore line and of the North Sea. |
Sports Centres
Scarborough sports centre is situated on Filey road about 5 minutes away from the town centre. The centre is equipped with a bar, gym, outside tennis courts, bowling greens, squash courts, indoor 5 a side pitches and tennis courts and a lot more.
There are also several private gyms within the area.
Indoor Pool
Whatever the weather, the Scarborough indoor pool is a great place to take your family for a relaxing day out. The pool has a gym and solarium as well as a 25 meter pool and a small learner pool for the kids.
Cricket
Scarborough Cricket Club's history spans a century and a half, the Club being founded in 1849 when the first matches were played on castle hill.
Sailing
If sailing is your thing Scarborough Yacht Club
will be happy to accommodate you
with excellent facilities for visiting boats including new pontoon berths. There is always a friendly welcome at the club house which also offers an excellent winter education program if you are new to the sport.
